Q: Can I use my own artwork for a tile mural?
A: Absolutely, we will use your artwork to produce a
personalized art piece; the quality of the artwork determines
the quality of the mural so the larger the digital file the
larger we can produce. Send us a RAW file format if using a
digital SLR camera or scan your slide or print film for best
results. Kitchen backsplash sized art can be produced from a
JPEG image.
Q: What is the turn around time for a tile mural?
A: The usual turn-around time is two to three weeks.
Our eco-friendly material is made to order in the USA and
has a 10-12 week lead time. When you call to place your order we will quote you an estimated
ship date.
Q: Where can I install my mural.
A: Each material has it’s strengths and weaknesses, see
our recommendation on our
materials page.
The murals are best installed indoors where they will not
receive long term direct Ultra-Violet light exposure. If you
purchase our tile table tops and install them in an outside
patio table, please keep the table covered when not
entertaining. Other installation solutions are available
through our Distributor Outlets. Ask them for assistance or if
you don’t have a distributor close by call us.
Q: Can I install my mural on a floor or counter top?
A: Tempered glass tiles can be used as a decorative
element in a bar or countertop. Once installed the artwork
is protected behind the glass.
Q: Can I cancel or return my order?
A: Each mural is custom made to your specifications and
can not be resold so once placed,
orders can not be cancelled and returns are not accepted.
Q: Can I put my mural outdoors?
A: Great care must be used when considering installing a
tile mural outside. Direct Ultra-Violet light will degrade the
quality of the artwork over time and we can not predict how your
installation location or local climate will impact the lifespan
of the mural. With proper design considerations porcelain tiles
can be used for outside installation as they are not impacted by
freeze and thaw conditions. Glass tiles can be used as outdoor
patio table tops; be sure to cover the table when not
entertaining. If in doubt please call us for advice.
